Welcome to the Office of Student Engagement and Leadership
We are home to the Student Government Association, Greek Life and student organizations. We also work closely with the Leadership Scholar Program, Welcome Week, the Leadership Conference Celebrating African American History month, Honors Convocation, Voter Registration and many more events that take place on our campus. Our Mission
The Office of Student Engagement and Leadership fosters campus community through programs, resources and involvement opportunities that advance student learning and prepare students for success in the global community.
Our Purpose
A staff of energized and creative professionals dedicated to a 鈥渟tudents-first鈥� philosophy, the Office of Student Engagement and Leadership:
- Connects students with an array of engagement opportunities.
- Educates student organizations about resources and leadership training opportunities to support all aspects of organization development.
- Advises and supports student organizations regarding responsible financial management and event planning.
- Encourages tradition and innovation in campus programming.
- Fosters a meaningful and memorable engagement experience.
To get the most out of your time on campus, we encourage you to get involved with campus life and throughout the Troy community. From tutoring children at The Boys and Girls Club, to hosting a cookout for fellow students, to coordinating a food drive for hurricane victims, the social programs and service opportunities available to our students are unparalleled. If you do not see what you are looking for, you may want to consider starting a new organization.
